‘Injury knocked me out of U-20 World Cup’ Park Seung-ho out for 5-6 months

Injured Park Seung-ho is returning home early.

The Korea Football Association announced on June 30 that “Park Seung-ho is on his way home and will arrive at Incheon Airport on June 1, as it has been determined that he will not be able to play in future matches 메이저놀이터.”

“According to the national team medical staff, if he completes surgery and rehabilitation well, he will be able to play in five to six months,” the statement added.

Park Seung-ho is a versatile attacking resource for Kim Eun-jong-ho, who can play both in the center and on the flanks. He earned a spot in the U-20 World Cup squad after a sparkling showing.

Park made his debut on Aug. 28, scoring the equalizer against Honduras in the third match of the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2023 Group F qualifiers.

However, he went down with an injury in the 21st minute of the second half and had to be substituted.

Park was diagnosed with a fractured fibula in his right ankle and a damaged triangular ligament. It was decided that he would be better off undergoing surgery after returning home.
