Samsung Lions outfielder Kim Hyun-jun has been named the All Right Hospital’s monthly MVP for July. The award ceremony was held before the Lions’ home game against the LG Twins on July 4.
Kim appeared in 18 games during the month of July, batting .357 with 30 hits in 84 at-bats, 12 RBIs and 12 runs scored. Kim said, “This is my first monthly MVP award since my debut, so it means a lot to me. I will continue to show my good form until the end of the season and try to win the MVP award once more.”
Woo Dong-hwa, president of Olam Hospital, presented the award, and Kim Hyun-joon received a small gift certificate.
