“We don’t need James” Dallas owner says “we have Doncic”…Cuban ‘dismisses’ James trade rumors

National Basketball Association (NBA) Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has dismissed rumors of a trade for LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers.

In a recent appearance on Bobby Althoff’s The Realistic Good Podcast, Kuban flatly denied the possibility of a James deal.

“We don’t want James,” Cuban said. We have Luka Doncic,” he said.

Doncic is better than James.

James is 38 years old and still playing at the top of his game. He’s still playing at the top of his game despite being 38 years old. If he comes to Dallas, he and Irving can lead Dallas to a championship. James and Irving won championships with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

However, Kuban has made it clear that he values Doncic, who has established himself as a franchise player, above James.

In five seasons in Dallas, Doncic averaged 27.6 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 8.0 assists per game. He shot 46.6% from the field and 33.8% from three-point range. 안전놀이터

Doncic also led Dallas to the Western Conference Finals in 2022.

Meanwhile, Dallas is hoping that Kyrie Irving can play a role in helping Doncic.

In the middle of last season, Dallas acquired Irving in hopes of boosting Doncic’s potential. It didn’t work. In the games they played together, Dallas went 5-11.

He declined his $38.9 million player option for the 2023-24 season and signed a three-year, $126 million deal with Dallas.

Nevertheless, Cuban emphasized that Dallas is still Doncic’s team, and he wants Irving to stay in his supporting role.
